I have to laugh because even when Mr. Bush makes an innocuous decision about which book to read his decisions turn out to be the wrong ones. It was reported that he recently put John Barry's book about the Influenza epidemic of 1918 on his reading list. Given recent developments with Katrina, it seems that he read the wrong John Barry book. He should have read his book "Rising Tide", which is a tale about the Mississippi flood of 1927 that was as catastrophic as Katrina is anticipated to become. I understand that his decision to read the wrong John Barry book wasn't intentional and probably doesn't matter in the large scheme of things, but it made me laugh to think he's reading the less topical of two books written by John Barry.
