I learned earlier this year that the Boston Red Sox will move to New York and take over Yankee Stadium and play in New York.
George Steinbrenner has not said anything about this yet. I urge Yankee fans to complain to the Major League Baseball office in NYC and to the owner of the Red Sox.
I don't know where the Yankees will move though but I consider this move by the Red Sox an outrage. Since when can an entity from another state who has played many years in that state then move to New York and take over?
Actually I'm not talking about the Red Sox.
I'm talking about William Weld the former governor of Massachussetts who has moved to New York and will run for Governor in New York. I consider this an encroachment of our state by someone who has run another state for years and now wants to plant himself in New York.
Don't let William Weld do this, Call the NY State Republican Party and express your outrage about this move.
Vote Democratic in 2006 for governor.
