Some of you probably didn't know that a Democrat, Dave Freudenthal, is the Governor of Wyoming. Granted, I can't find anything specific that Freudenthal has done.
Well, until now.
Freudenthal says national Dem leaders too liberal for Wyoming
More below
The biggest difference between the Democrats and Republicans: Republicans don't criticize each other in public, Democrats enjoy circular firing squads.
But, I will say one nice thing about Freudenthal
He said that stuff in front of a DNC leader (Honda). Which is better than the usual "bash your party behind their backs" garbage.
Anyways, on to the material..
State Democrats should distance themselves from liberal national party leaders whose agenda frequently differs from Wyoming, Democratic Gov. Dave Freudenthal told state party members at a meeting attended by a Democratic National Committee vice chairman.
Wyoming Democrats should instead focus on local issues that relate to Wyoming residents, Freudenthal told about 75 state Democrats Saturday night.
"This is a party that's not afraid of firearms," Freudenthal said. "It's a party where people are interested in whether the governor managed to shoot an antelope with one shot."
"I don't care about Howard Dean," he said, referring to the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
You can read the rest for yourself.. basically Freudenthal makes the following statements
#1 - that Wyoming politics is more about "partnerships" and "victories of purpose", which is Wyomingese for "it's not that bad that we always get our asses kicked"
#2 - Freudenthal has given up on Democrats on a federal level.
And bad news for Barbara Cubin.. she could be opposed by a School Board chairman. I'm sure she's shaking in fear.
Granted, in the scheme of things, Cubin v. The School Board Chairman is fairer than Craig Thomas v. a Solid Waste Disposal Board member.
Granted, knowing a lot about dealing with solid waste would be useful in the U.S. Senate.
But yeah.. another day, another Democrat bashes another Democrat.
