Prince Harry's outrageous behavior this past week has left the U.K. gasping for its collective breath. I mean, if it weren't for the RAF, Hitlers Operation Sea Lion would have been a roaring success (no pun intended) for the Nazis and England would have become incorporated into the Third Reich. How could a member of the British royal family, whose own relatives served in the great struggle to rid the world of Hitler and his kind, do such a blasphemous thing and wear such a grotesque uniform? Here's what an ol' devildog thinks: Prince Harry is (unfortunately) saddled with a number of emotional problems that stem from his believing that he is NOT Prince Charles's son, as well as (most certainly) the tragic loss and the controversy surrounding the passing of his much beloved mother, Princess Diana.
Harry's emotional problems about not being the product of a Charles and Diana union are based on the constant swirling (yet, somewhat reserved)rumours in the United Kingdom that Harry is, in fact, British Army Major James Hewitts son (the man that Harrys mother was involved with around the same time he was born). Plus, on top of all of that he feels a sense of inadequacy and "not-quite-measuring-up" to his older (and more polished) "brother", Prince William. Now, this is all scuttlebutt, of course. Harry may in fact be Charles' son.
But, I have always had doubts concerning Harry's true paternity. I think he does too, and that this is another example of a frustrated youth "acting out" against their psychic tensions. As far as the question that is raging through Great Britain right now, does Harry deserve to go to Sandhurst (the British West Point) after this outrageous stunt? I would answer yes, but only after he passes a rigorous and thorough (but discreet)psychological examination. Semper Fidelis
