The Democrats of both houses should introduce very specific legislation regarding the lack of incentive American taxpapers get for funding their medical insurance premiums. They should say that if the people are to be impacted by such a thing, it would be better for Congress to try it out for a while. A dry run, if you will.
As an employer of Congress, their employee reviews stink! They've gotten some stupid notion that the money we take out of our paychecks to pay their ever-increasing salaries and handsome benefit packages is something to which they are entitled! (WRONG)
I don't think so. I think we should have a citizen oversight committee to decide, based on merit how much any given legislator can make. Benefits packages, with no incentive to us, can be given only to the most deserving. The panel will be made up of a large group of citizens from all backgrounds, each vote counts once at a weighted percentage of total.
