electability
It's interesting to read the electability argument from
right wingers' perspective.
What is amazing is that everyone in the punditry class is missing it - the Democrats, at least in IA and NH, were going for "electability"...in other words, for a man who seems like he could be President. This, my friends, is what happens when a political party is entirely bereft of ideas - and/or its afraid to have its ideas made too public.
What do the Democrats want? Someone who seems to be a war hero to take on a war-time President so that we may be able to surrender in the war and then get on to silly, social-engineering classwarfare nitpicking....geesh! Please, Democrats, don't make it that easy for us....

Vero,
Good point.
Bradley,
It only really occured to me this morning...you know, what "electability" really means...if you're confident that your ideas are the better ideas, you don't worry about "electability", you work on getting your message out.

I was actually commenting to the other lab-rats I work with about how Kerry looked non-wrinkled recently (past week or so) in photos.
Sorry, I don't find this to be news or scandal worthy....dumb choice if it's true (being a biologist, I wouldn't get botox), but not scandalous.
...and Laura Bush is neither Kerry, nor is she running for President, so leave her out of it.
On the other hand, his being the Waffle-boy will be too easy to work with.
