I desire to know how people on this blog perceive our Democratic and Independent US Senators. Each day for the next several days I will post a poll asking you who you believe is the most progressive Senator, the most centrist Senator, the most effective Senator, the most corrupt Senator, the most underappreciated Senator, the most intelligent Senator, the best representative of their constituents and the most worthy of our campaign contributions in 2006.
The final poll of this eight part series can be found below the fold.

Who do you believe is the most effective Senate Democrat? Who proposes and manages to pass the most important legislation? Who has best stopped Republican seizures of power? Who offers the best and most convincing filibuster speeches? Who actually shapes policy and procedure? These are the criteria I considered when choosing the Senators enumerated in this poll. If you desire to choose a different Senate Democrat, select "Other" and indicate your choice in the comments section.
