I am really surprised that so few commenters on the Plamegate fiasco have examined the possibility that Judith Miller is not a good journalist hoodwinked by bad sources, but rather, a conscious and willing administration stooge.
Following this reasoning a little further, how about taking a look into Judith Miller's bank accounts? If it was worth hundreds of thousands to Bushco to buy journalists to whitewash the disaster that is No Child Left Behind, how much more would it be worth to them to buy someone to peddle their WMD lies on the front page of The New York Times?
"WMD--I got it totally wrong," the Times quoted Miller as saying in a Friday interview.
"The analysts, the experts and the journalists who covered them--we were all wrong. If your sources are wrong, you are wrong."
The arrogance and stupidity of this remark are truly staggering. How about the many, many "analysts, experts and the journalists who covered them" who were listening to Hans Blix at the time--all of whom turned out to be right?? Not to mention the fact that ten million people marched in the world's streets, very few of them "experts", because they knew better than to buy Bush's fabrications--why did Miller??
