Things must be pretty bad for recruiters.

Came across this in the government jobs section on the Boston Craigslist site, and I find it completely astounding.
"Every generation has its heroes"
"Americas freedom is under attack, there is no greater calling than service to the nation. The U.S. Army is the most powerful, most respected and most feared ground force in the world. At its core, the success of the Army lives and dies on every Soldiers ability to think and take decisive action - to lead themselves and others. Fundamentally, the Army protects all that the U.S. Constitution stands for.
Every generation has its heroes...This one is no different.
If you want more information on the over 200 jobs the Army has to offer please call SGT XXXXXXXX at 781-XXX-XXXX.
* Compensation: 30 days payed vacation, full medical and dental, 20 year retirement"
No editing there except to take out the name and phone number of the recruiter. Now, come on.
"Americas[sic] freedom is under attack?" Where? How? Only attack on freedoms I see is coming from within, from the administration in power! If the recruiter is referring to 9/11, well, yes, that was an attack on our country, but how in God's name was it an attack on our FREEDOM?
"The U.S. Army is the ... most respected and most feared ground force in the world." Yeah, because we all want the rest of the world to cower in fear of us.
PAYED? No comment.
