So
Frontline goes to Abu Ghraib this past August, not because
Ken Tomlinson has sent them there as punishment for telling the truth, but to get to the bottom of the Bush Administration's torture scandal at Gitmo and Abu Ghraib.
I can not make this any more clear: This program is a must see! And, thanks to donations to PBS by me and hopefully you, too, if it doesn't run in your market, you can watch the entire thing online. More after the fold.
This two-hour Frontline doc features the first (that I've seen, anyway) wide-ranging interview with Brigadier Gen. Janis Karpinski, makes serious allegations against both Major General Geoffrey Miller and General Ricardo Sanchez (with all the evidence to back it up), and includes interviews with US Army interrogators and MPs. They makes it clear that all previous investigations were hack jobs and that there is complicity all the way up the chain of command to Rumsfeld (duh!).
I won't say anymore here, because I could never do this piece justice. Emmys will be handed out for this one. You must watch.
Watch this and pass the link to everyone you know. We should all know what is being done in our names.
