I caught the beginning of Saturday Night Live last night and boy I'm glad I did. Daryl Hammond did an epic Brit Hume impersonation, scoffing about partisan Democrats "suggesting" that Bush's Q&A w/ soldiers was scripted. Meanwhile, a Fox News scroll on the bottom of the screen delivered such nuggets as "Fox Fact: Bush is greatest President since Lincoln." Hume(Hammond) then sent us over to a new Q&A with the troops to prove Bush does not script such events.
If you missed it, hopefully someone like Crooks & liars will post it.
More spoliers below the fold......

Some more great spots.
- One soldier tells Bush, "Sometimes an Iraqi is so full of Democracy, they'll run into a public square and explode.....with Democracy." To which Bush replies, "Yeah I've heard that."
- At another point, Finesse Mitchell snaps and says "Man, Y'all don't pay me enough to lie like this." The screen suddenly goes static, then resumes with Keenan Thompson pretending to be the same black soldier. "Hey everybody, it's still me!"
SNL has had a hard time keeping my attention lately, but that was one of the better sktis I've seen in a long time. And oh yeah, Tina Fey's return made a huge diference on Weekend Update.
