Dear Senator Feinstein,
Please, why have are we doing so little to aid the tens of thousands of victims of the earthquake in Pakistan? I read that relief efforts estimate a shortage of 200,000 tents? The US government could easily, I think, mobilize the human, industrial, and financial resources necessary to make these tents in short order. We have provided token help; we should be providing massive and rapid aid.
I chose "foreigh affairs" in the topic box on your web site, but I would have liked the option of "human rights and massive suffering."
Please, I urge you to stand up on the Senate Floor and urge your colleagues to show real leadership. Help these poor souls; they have the same flesh, blood as we do. They feel pain the same way; they lose friends and children the same way.
The need is great and we can fill it; please help.
