Peter Dauo, Atrios and a few others brought attention to a disgusting smear by Little Green Footballs that was linked to by Michelle Malkin. LGF accused anti-war group American Friends Service Committee of planning "parties" to mark the death of the 2,000th US soldier in Iraq. These "parties" actually consisted of candlelight vigils and other various somber demonstrations. Dauo was especially ripped, stating "I spent years in Beirut, I lived and breathed war, I watched friends get blown to pieces, I've seen horrors I hope Malkin never has to see,.....Malkin should know better than to soil our public discourse with this kind of garbage."
How does Charles Johnson of LGF respond? He simply states, "[t]hey obviously don't like it when their sick plans are exposed." Nice duck.
Well Mr. Johnson, in case you didn't notice, you're being ripped for blatantly distorting and mischaracterizing the group's plans. You were caught red handed. Your response simply shows you have no shame. Same goes for Malkin, who not surprisingly applauded Johnson's response.
