There have been half a dozen diaries reporting on recent speaking appearances by
Mark Crispin Miller. Now is your chance to hear him for yourself. Miller will speak for an hour on tonight's broadcast of the
Commonwealth Club. Details after the flip.
Mark Crispin Miller: The Theft of the 2004 Election -- The speaker is Mark Crispin Miller, professor of media studies at New York University and author of "Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the 2004 Election, and Why They'll Steal the Next One, Too (Unless We Stop Them)." The PBS and Fox News political commentator elaborates on his claims that Republicans orchestrated electoral fraud to manipulate the 2004 presidential race into an illegitimate win. He presents his compelling list of evidence, including Democratic voter disenfranchisement, discrepancies between official vote counts and exit poll counts, and computer errors. Neither a Republican nor a Democrat, Miller is known for his objective analysis on current issues facing media and politics.
Was the 2004 presidential election stolen? Even John Kerry has recently (and belatedly) taken the position that it probably was. Mark Crispin Miller's new book
Fooled Again discusses the evidence and makes a case for electoral reform.
