I have been wondering about this. When a 'failure' Republican President G.W. Bush speaks what will be his real time captive audience. At the venue, all TV channels and Radio shows and all other modes combined.
Compare that with captive audience who will be treated to the review and analysis that follows in the late afternoon and evening talk shows. Add to that the review and analysis of News Organizations. It is an accepted fact that this failed President has 67% of the country that has turned away from him. Whatever he speaks, two thirds of this country had already shut their ears and eyes. The only open their mouths to speak out. Remember, all this can be attributed to Bush himself. 'Bush Lied, Thousands Died'
It is going as I expected. I just happened to read an analysis and review by AP, now available here. http://www.msnbc.com
ANALYSIS
Updated: 8:10 p.m. ET Nov. 30, 2005
WASHINGTON - President Bush's depiction of Iraqi security forces as "helping to turn the tide" is difficult to square with persistent setbacks in handing control of the country back to its own people.
While great service and sacrifice is being done by fellow countrymen in uniform, each of must recognize that we must keep spreading the good work of Congressman John Murtha and expose the follies of this failed Republican President.
To quote further from the AP Analysis:
His suggestion that Americans are solidly behind the mission also understates opposition at home, and his hard sell on the rising quality of Iraqi forces overlooks complexities on the ground.
We must keep spreading the word about such good articles. That will pave way for us to force the GOP Senators and GOP Congressmen to act with conscience. Remember we have to bear this failed President for 3 more years. I really tremble at that thought. We can and we will lessen the pain by forcing the public opinion to go against the President. I have more hope that an AIDS vaccine will be found in the next few years that this failed Republican President listening to his military commanders and thus seeing the reality in Iraq.
