After reading that Shrub was going to have a live genuine imitation press conference this morning, I went to bed with high hopes. I dreamt* in vivid detail, after the fold.
- The House and Senate were in session all night.
- Shrub fired Cheney contingent on the confirmation of the following...
- Shrub nominated Al Gore as VP, saying he was sorry he had the SCOTUS steal the 2000 election.
- Told Congress to confirm Al or Cheney was going to be prez.
- Congress took 10 minutes to confirm.
- Chimp went to the Oval and resigned on live tv this morning
- [bonus waking dream this morning] Left the oval in disgrace, surrounded by a group of Iraq veterans in wheel chairs and on crutches.
Just another wacky day for the USA, eh?
On another note, I council my kids to not use the "strongest" words that are used far too often:
- Hate
- Love
- Awesome
- Absolutely
- Never
etc.
Because it is actually very rare to come across these in real life. However...
I have to say this though--I have moved from mere loathing, intense dislike, and "I think I just vomited a little bit" to actual hatred of our petty dictator.
- I hate the fact that he uses oxygen that could be better used by a series of heretofore unknown amphibians and reptiles, even a new sort of snake.
- I hate the fact that he kills millions of bacteria when he takes a shower or brushes his teeth.
- I hate the fact that he can sleep.
- I hate the fact that he damages grass when he walks to Marine-1.
- I hate the fact that his CO2 exhalations and methane-laced farts contribute to global warming.
But most of all,
I hate the fact that he makes me hate.
Five years of torture we have endured. Can we stand even one more minute of it?
