Who Would Jesus Knock Off?
Happy Holidays, Michael Schiavo

SAN FRANCISCO Dec 8, 2005 -- A 32-year-old woman was convicted for posting a death threat on an Internet message board connected to the Terry Schiavo case, authorities said Wednesday.
Dera Marie Jones, of San Francisco, was convicted by a federal jury Tuesday afternoon of sending a death threat across state lines, according to U.S. Attorney Kevin V. Ryan.
"If she dies, I will kill Michael Schiavo and the judge," Jones wrote. "This is real!"
No, prison is real (below):
She faces up to five years and a $250,000 fine. My question is:
Shouldn't Bill Frist and Jeb Bush be serving some of that time? And paying part of that fine? Could they get them on conspiracy charges? What about that creep preacher whose name I have thankfully forgotten? Aren't they all complicit in this? Just wondering.
And another thing: Remember when Tom DeLay said "The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior"? How different is that from what Jones was just convicted for? Different, yes--but not very, in my opinion. He also said it in Texas, and was speaking about judges in several other states, so his threats traveled across state lines.
