More evidence that the neocons are not conservatives and that this isn't a left/right issue, or even a Dem/Repub issue, but a world vs. a hijacked country/party issue.
Glenn Reynolds demonstrates:
BILL HOBBS:
I have not written about the Terri Schiavo case because it is too complex, too multilayered, and too steeped in unknown or unknowable facts for me - indeed for most people - to have a fully informed opinion.
I don't know - and neither do you - if Michael Shiavo is trying to murder his wife or trying to fulfill her stated wishes for just such a scenario. I don't know what Terri Schiavo would want - and neither do you - because she didn't tell us via a living will. We have only the word of her husband who assures us that his wife once said she wouldn't want to be kept alive this way, and we have her parents, who love their daughter and desire only to care for her.
I do know that the Congress did the wrong thing, intervened where it had no Constitutional right, and solved nothing.
Read the whole thing. I think he's right.

Dems/Liberatarian/Greens/People-of-reason, this is an opportunity to get populist. Swing voters don't vote for "Dems" or "Repubs", they vote for who they perceive the most in common in with. I'm more conservative than G.W., and I'm a liberal! For instance, I'm into conserving:
Humanitarian rights
Constiutional Rights
Balanced budgets
Social stability
the world we live in (aka, the environment)
The list goes on...
Next time someone tells you that your too liberal and not conservative enough, take exception! The less left/right, Dem/Repub speak we put out there, the better off and more successful we'll all be. Hijack the con-mens' language AND their postions with sense and sensibility. If they're going to say they're conservative, make em back it up. With very little work on your part you can set them up to hang themselves, with their own language and hypocrisy in no time.
