You know, several of our '04 primary candidates have proven to be real class acts, and dedicated fighters.
Edwards continues to discuss the Two Americas. He's promoting
tax fairness, and has spoken out against the
bankruptcy bill.
Clark has been testifying in Congress about national security, showing intelligence and an unwillingness to suffer delusional fools.
And Dean has settled unobtrusively into his role as DNC chair, made friends with other Democratic leaders, and started building permanent party organizations in critical swing states. And he's still as blunt as ever when it comes to boneheaded Republican leadership.
Some of these candidates still have presidential ambitions, I'm sure. But they're doing good work for the country long before the next election. This shows an admirable dedication.
Thank you to all three, and to any other ex-candidates whose good work I've overlooked.
