I just feel sicker and sicker, thinking of the hate diaper that is the House Majority Leader. This man just takes pleasure in saying things that offend me as much as possible every day. I have never seen a more vitriolic, pompous, openly evil politician in my years following politics. He, unlike Bush or even Nixon, just takes pride in showcasing every evil trait he possibly could. Values? I am sorry, but I think I am a damned more "value-centered" person than he is. What are his values? Pro-War, Pro-poverty, Pro-guns, and Jesus. This man just HAS TO GO.
I mean, on the one hand, he's good to have in office, because he scares the living shit out of anyone who follows politics that is not a total hate diaper, but this is now getting to be too far. The threats against the judiciary are now getting to be so commonplace that Justice Kennedy (one of the more conservative members on the court!) recently asked to have more guards at the Supreme Court. This man is a threat to our very nation and should be tried and convicted for making threats against the judiciary.
Then there's another hate diaper, Bill Frist. He is looking to get rid of the Senate filibuster, because Democrats supposedly have been "taking advantage" of it. Um, Democrats are only using the filibuster against less than 10% of Bush's nominees - and that is FAR LESS than the useage that those diapers used against Clinton. They are saying Democrats are acting in "extra constitutional" ways, but ultimately, this is a fight they will lose. Then there's the fact that Bush does not even consult Democrats when making judicial nominees - something that goes against the tradition of the presidency. He tries to bypass the Democrats completely. Um, last I checked, the Republicans were part of a democracy, not a theocracy. And then there's Frist's comment, that when Democrats vote against any of Bush's nominees, they are voting against people of faith. Um, last I checked, "people of faith" are not one universal voice, and plenty of "people of faith" voted and vote Democrat. Besides, as much as that hate diaper would like to think that God is speaking through him, sorry, I find that a bit hard to believe. (and if that's true, then maybe God is a hate diaper!)
These people want to overturn judicial opinions and impeach justices simply because they disagree with the decision. That goes against the seperation of powers! These people claim they are "anti-activist," but they are as activist as it gets. I value my right to choose, but even more than that, I value the fact that this country has a seperation of church and state. I value that. These hate diapers want to take that away from me. They want to change this country into the western version of Saudi Arabia. At least Pat Buchanan in his book described ideal Christian morals in a way very similar to ideal Muslim morals.
When the American Taliban has decided that it's okay to make open threats against the judiciary, they step into the realm of terrorists. And it's the job of all of us as Americans to stop these people dead in their tracks. The block of Bolton's nomination is just a start.
