Did it seem to anyone else that Bush had a list of reporters showing the order in which he was to call on them, and that he was still reading the script when he answered the first several questions? I try not to watch many of these things, and there haven't been many altogether, so that may be normal. However, I cannot escape the sense that at least the subjects covered in the first three questions were known in advance, allowing a controlled response and keeping him away from any other observations on the solidity of liquified natural gas. Are reporters so predictable that this could be arranged without cooperation?
