Ending some speculation that, like Voinovich, the other senator from Ohio, DeWine might have some reservations about Bolton, DeWine endorses the Prez's choice. Sounding like every other sock puppet with the talking points, this from today's
Dispatch
Bolton "is a tough guy, but this is a tough job. He may have some personality issues, but the president is entitled to have his man in this tough position."
Even more incredibly, DeWine ignores all previous testimony about Bolton's abuse, his diplomatic blundering with Korea and NPT, his ignoring his superiors and abuse of his underlings:
"I know the president well enough to know that he would not put up with somebody who is not a team player," DeWine said. "I guarantee you that."
De Wine, unintentionaly, could have been talking about Bush's tolerance for dissent from senators. He is afraid what the Boosh would do to anyone like him doesn't vote Bush's line.
