The Bush Administration (Bu$hCo) knows that the planet is warming, but does very little about it. THEY ARE LIKE THE EMPEROR NERO--FIDDLING WHILE THE PLANET BURNS. Bu$hCo seems almost intent to destroy. To destroy our democracy. To destroy our sense of morality and ethics by instituting torture. To destroy our civil liberties. To destroy the planet. To destroy as many Iraqis as it can. To destroy the international community that was so painstakingly built in the post-WWI-period by nearly every Administration since 1945. To destroy the middle class, and the economy inherited from Clinton. In many ways, trying to destroy the America we have known throughout our lives.
Let's see....what aren't they trying to destroy?
Psychologically, you could think of it this way: Some people are just destructive to the core, in their souls. No matter what they touch, they eventually destroy it. This seems to be fairly descriptive of Bush in many ways. His whole life, he has been destructive in a wide range of different ways, and this even includes destruction of himself, of his own soul, perhaps in an unconscious or deliberate attempt to get back at his parents, whom he still seems to have problems with.
We are unlucky to have, as our President (and VP), a man who is fundamentally a destructive human being. He has been given the power to destroy the planet in almost every imaginable way. And he is taking advantage of this opportunity, and will not stop, even if his popularity drops to 0%, because he is a TYRANT.
This is reminiscent of historical tyrants, including dictators who sent out orders to their lieutenants or generals, when their own political lives were about to come to an end, to actually DESTROY THEIR OWN NATION, LITERALLY, with bombs and fire and with all available means, so that no one would be able to prosper there, including the people of the nations that they were actually the leaders of! In this respect, as well, Bush is quite reminiscent of the Emperor Nero who apparently acquiesed to the burning of Rome. Such things have happened throughout history.
