As a proud wearer of the tinfoil hat, I frequent web sites that most Kossacks wouldn't be caught dead on. However, with the exception of a number of mostly Republican politicians, I firmly believe that the fact that a man/woman may not be fully reliable is not proof that they are always wrong.
There is also a distinction to be drawn between a thing observed, and a meaning inferred from the existence of the thing observed. An observer of the tinfoil stripe may be wildly incorrect regarding the meaning s/he ascribes to that which s/he has observed. That does not perforce prove that my tinfoil-wearing brother or sister did not see what he or she claims to have seen.
So, on the Jeff Rense website -- I know, I know -- there are reports and photographs of something claimed to have been observed. And there is speculation regarding what it means. I don't have answers. Let me, however, pose questions.
The substance of the report is that there is being constructed in Israel, about 10 minutes by car from the recently-replaced international terminal at the Ben-Gurion airport, a huge military base.
The report is that US and Arab workers (to the exclusion of Israelis) are building the facility; there is a blackout on the subject in the Israeli media; and few Israelis are aware of it.
Reportedly, the base will cover some 25 square miles -- a lot of land, especially in little land-poor Israel -- and no one will comment, except to say it is intended as a "storage facility."
It may be that, in part -- the photos presented show what appear to be warehouses -- but there appear also to be many buildings with entrances too small for trucks (barracks?).
Plus, the photos appear to show underground bunkers (near helicopter pads; probably for the brass) underground tunnels, heavy-duty electronics equipment, and possibly missile silos, and room for internees.
The posters to Rense assure us it is an NWO military base, being built by Merka but to be turned over to the UN, intended for use by the UN against Israelis. I think the posters are anti-Muslim Christian Zionists.
Nevertheless, the photos look quite convincing regarding the "what," however skeptical I might be regarding the "why".
The Merkan flag is shown flying, and there is a sign declaring (or so 'tis claimed, I don't read Hebrew) that the place is to be completed by the end of August 2005.
Me? I don't say yes, I don't say no. But if Merka is building a huge, heavy-duty military base in Israel, in secret, with missile silos, well I suspect that's something that ought to provoke some questions. For whose benefit is this facility? Are Merkans to be stationed there? Other non-Israeli forces? Is the facility to be equipped with nucular weapons? Whose? Who will control those weapons? Has Congress authorized funds for this, or is it "Black Budget"?
To what military and geopolitical end is the base, assuming it IS being built, being constructed?
The perceived unreliability of the reporter is only that: it's not a final answer to the question of whether the photos show what they purport to show, and does not permit one to fairly say, oh Jeff Rense reported this, so it cannot be true, there is definitely no such thing being built, and we can dismiss it out of hand.
I'm pretty shaky on the NWO-to-suppress-the-Israelis theory, but I think it entirely possible that a large military base is being built, in which case I would like to know the facts re what, who, why and so forth.
Wouldn't you?
