No sooner do I
write about the lack of accountability in the Bush administration then CNN announces the
same standard for Novak:
Journalist Robert Novak's status as a CNN contributor will remain unaffected during a federal probe into the revelation of a CIA officer's identity, executives at the news channel said Sunday.
"I think we're all aware that no one really knows what's going on in the investigation of the Valerie Plame incident," said Jonathan Klein, president of CNN/U.S. "So it would be awfully presumptuous of us to take steps against a guy in his career based on second, third, fourth-hand reporting."

It's now been confirmed that Novak traitorously revealed a CIA agent's name to assist the White House in a smear campaign. Rove is actually accusing Novak of revealing Valerie Wilson.
But, never fear for the "Prince of Darkness":
Klein praised Novak as "one of the most outstanding political reporters this country has ever known."
Outstanding? Should we check his accuracy record? Just a week ago he insisted that Rehnquist was resigning. A broken clock may only be right twice a day, but that's still a record that Bob Novak would envy.
He's constantly wrong, he destroyed an entire CIA covert operation to help out his GOP pals. What does he have to do before people finally stop listening to him?
