So, with the Rove Plame outing getting a healthy Libby injection and real potential perjury charges, the word "Conspiracy" wrt BushCo, while certainly not necessarily politically helpful, suddenly finds brand new legitimacy in a very real legal sense: ie "Criminal Conspiracy."
con·spir·a·cy (kn-spîr-s)
n. pl. con·spir·a·cies
1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. A group of conspirators.
3. Law. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design: a conspiracy of wind and tide that devastated coastal areas.
And when one conspiracy gets exposed, the others take on a whole new light, yes? You start to really wonder; could they have done that?
What about the other so-called "conspiracies" we've been haunted by in the past 6 years? Where are we all at wrt that "gut feeling" on these other "conspiracies" now that we see clearly what Rove and co. are capable of: outing a CIA agent and effectively shutting down a CIA front company.
Take the Poll below and let's find out.
Here are the "Criminal Conspiracy" options:
1. I think BushCo knowingly ignored Terrorism and clear danger signals, hoping for a Pearl Harbor event so they could go to War in Iraq.
1b. I don't think BushCo wanted a Pearl Harbor event to happen and was just inept.
2. I think BushCo knowingly lied us into the Iraq War.
2b. I think their evidence wasn't clear, and they were just being safe, or I think it doesn't matter and we just need to focus on what to do now and forget the past for the "good of the country."
3. I think BushCo actually manipulated the Election machinery or computers in either 2000, 2004, or both.
3b. I think BushCo just made it reeeaaally hard to vote Democrat but all through legal or only slightly illegal means.
