Recently, the Sun in Britain posted an editorial advocating internment camps for "suspected terrorists." (No link available, sorry.) I couldn't believe that people would take/defend that position, but I was wrong.
So, for those of you who haven't seen it, here is the proof that the idea of internment camps, and the radicalized fear which infects people will not lead to anything good.

A man shot dead by police hunting the bombers behind Thursday's London attacks was unconnected to the incidents, police have confirmed. [...]
The man, who died at Stockwell Tube on Friday, has been named by police as Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, 27.
If you round up "suspected terrorists," all you're going to get is a bunch of people that look like the people you are afraid of.
There is no high ground. I am even more appalled at the statement by the London mayor:
"This tragedy has added another victim to the toll of deaths for which the terrorists bear responsibility."
When freedom disappears, it won't be the terrorists' fault.
We'll add Jean Charles de Menezes to the list of names of people that are casulties of other people's wars. Whatever his sins were, he did not deserve this.
