State Rep. Harold James (D-186) is a respected leader in Philadelphia. He's been in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for nearly 15 years. So what is a guy like this doing in bed with a fascist like Lyndon H. LaRouche? According to LaRouche, James
endorsed him earlier this week:
---
"After serious soul-searching and consideration, I have decided to extend my personal endorsement to the candidacy of Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. in the April 27 Democratic Presidential primary here in Pennsylvania. Fifteen percent of the vote, or more, for Mr. LaRouche in any Congressional District, will elect LaRouche delegates to the Democratic Party National Convention, and guarantee that our voices will be heard at the very highest levels of politics in this country.

"When it comes to the concerns of our communities, Mr. LaRouche's track record has been second to none. Over the years, when I have asked Mr. LaRouche to become involved with issues that will improve the conditions of my community, he has responded, not with words alone, but with action.
-snip-
"In echoing the voice of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Mr. LaRouche has called for defending the rights of America's forgotten men and women, and promoting the general welfare of the entire nation."

I can't find any independent confirmation of this, besides stuff on LaRouche's website. But, if those sources are to be believed, James and LaRouche have a long-standing relationship. For example, here's a copy of a speech James allegedly gave at conference sponsored by The Schiller Institute, a think tank closely associated with LaRouche.
LaRouche is not just an left-wing or right-wing extremist. He's an out and out fascist, according to the Political Research Associates, an organization that tracks the ultra-right. LaRouche has been slammed by various groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, for being anti-Semitic. According to the ADL, LaRouche believes the U.S. Government was behind 9-11:
---
Lyndon LaRouche stated in an interview appearing on his Web site that the attack on the U.S. on September 11 came from "some kind of rogue operation inside the security screen of the United States." It did not come from the Middle East, or Europe, or South America, he asserted. "The operation is very sophisticated," he said, "and no one could do an operation like this, from outside the United States at present.

I'll ask again: What is Rep. James doing endorsing and apparently working with Lyndon LaRouche?
