Faux preacher Pat Robinson never fails to blow my mind. Around the time that Iraq war started, there was turmoil going on in Liberia. I'm not farmiliar with all the details, but I do recall that the presedent of Liberia was a guy named Charlse Taylor. There was major unrest in his country, and the U.N. was calling for him to step down, as was Faux President Bush. I had been flipping channels when I heard Robinson say "HOW DARE BUSH ORDER THE PRESIDENT OF A SOVERIGN NATION STEP DOWN! WHO DOSE HE THINK HE IS?"
I was shocked, initialy thinking Robertson may have actully found God. Of course, he was talking about Taylor, and not Hussein. It turns out that Robertson, a multi-millionare, had a sweetheart gold mining operation going in Liberia, which he had signed with Taylor, that would be nullified if Taylor was forced from power, and the gold mine would be socialized for the citizens of Liberia instead. Which brings me to his latest foriegn policy suggestion.

Looks like Pat no longer cares about respecting soverign nations rights. I wonder what oil deals or other investments Robinson had that were voided by Chaves, a man who actully cares for his country's citizens.
"You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. And I don't think any oil shipments will stop. But this man is a terrific danger and the United ... This is in our sphere of influence, so we can't let this happen. We have the Monroe Doctrine, we have other doctrines that we have announced. And without question, this is a dangerous enemy to our south, controlling a huge pool of oil, that could hurt us very badly. We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."
I'll bet Pat has got some kind of financial stake in Venezuela, but don't know for sure. For that matter, I'll bet Jesus had some kind of opinion on gays, for instance, but don't know for sure. There is one a part in the Bible that dose make it perfectly clear, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what Jesus thinks of Robertson.
What Would Jesus Do?
Jesus would walk into Robertson's church, grab him by the scruff of his neck and say,"Get your money grubbing ass out of my Father's house, bitch.", drag him down the aslie, throw his ass in the street, and take a sledgehapper to his limo. The Bible is perfectly clear on that one.
