And how do we know when it has been accomplished?
"He said the families of fallen troops can know that the United States government will "honor their loved ones' sacrifice by completing the mission.":
Honestly, I am as upset about where we are as a country and as a party, and as an American as the next Kos- man or woman. But it really struck me today.
Bush said to day that we will complete the mission to honor the sacrifice of our fallen soldiers, but just what exactly does that mean? Are we to win the 'War on Terror' , and what is the matrix for knowing that we have won.
Do we establish Jeffersonian democracy in Iraq? or just leave when we notice that the door is partially open, and the party is still going on, but no one will notice that we've gone home?
What is our mission in Iraq?
And when do we know that it is complete?
