Considering the last President to serve 3 terms was FDR and Clinton probably would have won a 3rd term, this may not be a bad idea.
However, I shudder to think what could happen in a 3rd Bush term...
"Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., co-sponsored a piece of legislation with Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., that would repeal the 22nd amendment, which limits presidents to two terms in office, the Los Angeles Daily News reports. The resolution also has the support of the conservative Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, James Sensenbrenner, R-WI.
For Berman, the prospect of a third Bush term did not prevent him from backing the resolution: "If we can't beat 'em on the third try, then we don't deserve it."
