Another news conference, another set of lies.
"I didn't want war. To assume I wanted war is just flat wrong ... with all due respect," he told a reporter. "No president wants war." To those who say otherwise, "it's simply not true," Bush said.
Despite all the evidence to the contrary, Dubya still maintains that he didn't want a war. This tree is falling in the woods, but is anyone still around to hear him?
"Nobody likes war. It creates a sense of uncertainty in the country," he said. "War creates trauma."
Well, well. Did something intelligent - albeit terribly obvious - just come out of Dubya's mouth? I think it did.
But despite that one grain of truth, it's another news conference and another set of lies.
"We're making progress." BZZZZZZT Wrong.
"There's no civil war brewing." BZZZZZZZT Wrong again. And here, have a history book. Look up something informative.
