It's all about the media consolidation...and because of that, this very funny animated short by Robert Smigel and the JJ Sedelmaier studio has been languishing in the NBC vaults since March 14th, 1998. The information is somewhat dated now (there has been more, not less media consolidation) but it's still really good and should be seen. Link below the fold.
Move Left: SNL TV Funhouse lost episode, "Conspiracy Theory Rock."
I tried uploading this to YouTube but they kicked it out because they screen out things like this. This needs a high-bandwidth host...maybe Media Matters or something? Is there a place that does Flash streaming that has an ounce of cojones? Because this needs to be seen.
This was aired ONCE on Saturday Night Live, and never seen again. You can bet they WON'T show this on SNL this Saturday Night as part of their all TV Funhouse show.
UPDATE: It's now on Crooks and Liars, a server I know can handle the traffic.
