I was watching his loyalist speech just now and jotted down a few things that I think that Il Duce should have been told:
Kinda' rambly, yes, but important none the less!
1. Pearl Harbor was a Japanese military operation, thus the U.S. was attacked by a military naval and air force. The primary and exclusive targets were military (naval) ships, airfields, and bases.
September 11, 2001 was a terrorist attack that targeted innocent civilians, civilian buildings and government sites that contained a large number of civilian employees.
2. Despite the vast amounts of murk and BS applied to the issue, the primary justification for going to war with Iraq was the Presidential claim that Saddam Hussain had a highly sophisticated WMD program, which included large stockpiles of an assortment of weapons, including foundation components for nuclear weapon development.
3. The phrase "global world" is as redundant as it is nonsensical.
4. There was no trace of Al Qaeda or any other "radical Islamist" (cringing to use that phrase) terrorist organization within Iraq's realm of control before March, 2003.
5. Despite the painted picture, the President did absolutely nothing after several urgent and direct warnings to prepare the Federal government to respond to the potentially devastating hurricane Katrina. Rather, there is photographic and journalistic evidence that the President either completely ignored or was completely unaware of the imminent danger that was lurking just off the coast of our southern states.
6. When a man or woman can barely afford to put food on the table for his or her children, a savings account; ANY SAVINGS ACCOUNT is a virtual impossibility.
7. Extortion and propaganda are not components of leadership. Nor is filling venues with carefully selected loyalists.
8. Osama Bin Laden is likely sitting comfortably with friends right now and enjoying a cup of tea. Further, he likely has absolutely no worry about being captured anytime soon.
This, above all else is the clearest sign of our President's ineptitude.
