Polinaut has more information on the judge's ruling - howling from political Right expected over so-called "activist judges" using reason and the highest law of the land to determine worthiness of laws, as per their responsibilities - news at ten.
Curious that a certain Republican State Representative who's running for the highest law enforcement position in the state would push a law that he knew would not be enforced, to say nothing of surviving a challenge on its constitutional merits. I'd be curious to see how vehemently Mr. Johnson responds to this decision. What say you, Rep. Johnson? Would you, as Attorney General, enforce a law you yourself acknowledged wasn't written to be enforced? Quite a quandary.
