Can Michael Medved be right as well as Right in
his blog entry today?
If Joe refuses to abide by the normal terms of electoral politics, he needs to explain why the issues in this campaign are important enough for him to do so. Otherwise, he looks like the sorest of losers who's continuing his campaign for the sake of ego, not principle.
This entry had me grinning from ear to ear. Medved counsels Lieberman to spurn the Democratic party (i.e., be honest) and urges him to argue "that he runs as an independent to prevent the takeover of the Democratic Party by political fringe groups that can't win because they don't deserve to win."
Please, Joe, take Michael's advice. Really. Please try to paint Ned as a frothing-at-the-mouth handmaiden of International ANSWER. The comparison between hydrophobic rantings and what Ned Lamont truly is will be educational for Connecticut voters and good for the nation.
