Yes, I was introduced to Arnold by my uncle in Venice. It was almost 30 years ago and I was about 10 years old. As I approached him on the boardwalk and asked how I could get muscles like his he said...
"Go away from me! You look like a little girl. You will never be as big or as important as me!"
I took several steps back and my uncle came up, saw the expression on my face, and asked what was wrong. I said "He said I look like a little girl!" My uncle went up to him and chewed him out. (My uncle is ex military.) "Who do you think you are talking to a kid that way?" Arnold smiled and said nothing.
I bring this up because it seems this is Arnolds personality in a nutshell. All that is important to him is how important and "big" he is. It would give me no greater pleasure than to see him put away by scrawny Phil Angelides.
As to that scrawny 10 year old. I just had my first science paper accepted in "Environmental Science and Technology" using laser spectroscopy to study pollution. I have finished my second paper on an aspect of global warming and I am working on my third on particulates. As a boy scout I encouraged the engineer who lead our group to promote a concept to extend cars mileage by regenerating energy and having both a gas engine and electric engine that doubled as a generator. The last time I saw him years ago he said the Japanese were interested.
Arnold promoted a car... The Hummer? I am not impressed.
