There is a special election coming up soon in the area I live. There are more Democrat signs up this year than any previous election but there are still quite a few GOP ones. I have been trying to think of a way to help wake up these pod people and I am open for ideas.
Realizing most people will throw things away rather quickly so I need to make the point quickly. I was thinking of something along the lines as a quick 'test' with the answer being a surprise. Questions like "Do you believe in torture?" "Do you think society means everyone or just the wealthy?" "Do you still have your job?" "Does corruption of government officials really bother you?" "Do you think pro-life means more than just pro-birth?"
Any other suggestions? I am willing to compose it and mail it to the 'Registered Voter' at each address I pass that has a Republican sign or W sticker.
I need to make the point FAST and HARD that Republicans, in general CAN'T fix the mess they created and have NO intention of doing so.
Update [2006-1-24 16:17:52 by eAddict]: I am going to a debate tonight between the candidates. I get one question. I thought of something like this:
"With the focus on tax cuts vs tax and spend how do you propose to improve and keep essential services going in Missouri? I mean, if the taxes are cut where is money going to come for road repairs, emergency services, Department of Family Services, OSHA, and the like? You can only cut staff so far, which the Governer has done, and you can only pay people so little, which the Governer has also done. How do you improve these services?"
Any recommendations on better wording? They are also going to have a debate over heathcare so I am leaving my healthcare-related issue to than.
