So, Governor Warner has now stepped out of the 08 Presidential race. Now what!?
As many of us here in Virginia, I am pretty sure that Warner would have beaten Allen easily, especially with the race[sic] run by the Allen camp.
And, like some, I am sure, I am disappointed that he 'sacrificed' a near guaranteed win in the Virginia US Senate race for a 'listening tour' to find out that running for president wasn't such a good idea (at this time anyway!).
So, again, What now Mark Warner!?
Allen's Advisers Try Mute-Button Strategy
During the last weeks of the campaign, Allen's campaign is telling him to shut, it is time for Warner to step into the void actively created by Allen.
Warner, along with what I can only assume is a sizable 'warchest' can really help bring this Senate seat home for the Democratic Party.
Warner continues to be a very popular figure in Virginia, and definitely has the resources to win this seat for Webb, since he chose to abandon it himself -- it is now time for hime to step in and bring it home.
