Angie Paccione, who is trying to unseat fundamentalist extremist Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave in Colorado's 4th Congressional District, picked up the endorsement of the Denver Post today:

This could be a crucial turning point for Paccione, who lost DCCC funding last week in the wake of a poll showing her trailing Musgrave in the Republican-heavy eastern Colorado district. In addition to the Denver Post endorsement, Paccione this weekend picked up support from a local philanthropist who is making up for the lost DCCC funds with a big 527 donation:

A former pro basketball player and teacher, Paccione is a state legislator and chairwoman of the Colorado House Democratic Caucus. As a state rep, she's done a lot for veterans and military families. She successfully sponsored legislation protecting them from insurance price gouging, guaranteeing in-state university tuition status for National Guard members serving abroad, and allowing service members to defer state income taxes while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.
She's also been a strong supporter of ethics reform in Colorado state government, and promises to continue that effort on the federal level if elected to Congress.
Musgrave, on the other hand, was named to Citizens for Responsiblity and Ethics in Washington's list of the twenty most corrupt members of Congress:

Though the DCCC has decided to spend its ad money elsewhere, this weekend's developments give Paccione a real chance to pull an upset victory on November 7. She needs help from the Net Progressives. If you can, chip in a few dollars to help Paccione run some more ads:
