In today's Columbus Dispatch was a story that highlighted just how desparate the Pryce campaign is getting after the dynamite
Constituency Dynamics polling showing Pryce 12 points down.
So what is Pryce doing on the back of a music-blaring flatbed truck parked Downtown, practically begging her opponent to come out and debate her?
...
Pryce, chairwoman of the House Republican Conference in Washington, is playing the underdog at home. Her campaign has staged regular protest rallies outside the office of her challenger, Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy.
"Is Mary Jo Kilroy in the crowd? Is Mary Jo Kilroy in the crowd?" Pryce called out. "Well, maybe she'll show up another time."
This quote from the Kilroy campaign manager says it all:
"What 14-year incumbent challenges her opponent to take it outside?" Kozar asked. "It's a stunt by a desperate candidate who knows she's going to lose."
The full article is in the Columbus Dispatch. Warning: registration is still (I believe) required.
I've decided that my Election Day volunteer efforts will be going toward. I'm going to be helping the Kilroy campaign at least one, possibly two, days with Get Out The Vote. I will help carry a very worthy candidate across the finish line, and do my part to make sure Deborah Pryce goes down for the last time.
