WASHINGTON DC (October 21, 2006) - Just days after President George W. Bush signed into law the Military Commissions Act of 2006, a press release has been issued by The White House today that has the entire world abuzz.
President George W. Bush has declared himself and the entire GOP (including Joe Lieberman R-CT) as enemy combatants of the United States of America.
According to the press release, President Bush is taking this new law very seriously. It states that he believes that he himself and the GOP have engaged in criminal and unconstitutional actions that threaten the, "American-Way of Life" and that he feels obligated to make himself and the entire GOP an example of the importance of this new law.
When this reporter contacted White House Press Secretary, Tony Snow by phone, the babbling and sobbing Snow only screamed, "We do torture people under this bill and I don't want to be tortured! MOMMY!" and then the line went dead.
The President's decision has even touched Communist leader Kim Jong Il of North Korea who was quoted as saying, "We already ignore the Geneva Conventions and the Writ of Habeas Corpus, as well as disappear and torture people daily. But George W. Bush has set an example for all of us despots in the World and I for one am going to pass a similar law and then prosecute myself too. Thanks George!"
House Minority Speaker, Nancy Pelosi has gone on record as believing that this is, "yet another Roveian marketing scheme leading up to the November 7 mid-term elections."
However, CNN's DC correspondent Wolf Blitzer believes that this may be the real deal, "If we look at all of the decisions that this President has made over the past six years, we can clearly see that this is for real."
The coming days and weeks should be quite dramatic as the American People and the World watch to see how the President makes himself and the GOP disappear, subject to torture, not see legal counsel for a very long time and ultimately testify against them selves before a Military Tribunal.
