It appears as though another
fresh poll has Mikey Bloomberg ahead in the NYC mayoral race (so much for those who said the last poll showing Bloomberg ahead was a "fluke.")
As of today, I'm voting either Virginia Fields or Anthony Weiner in the primary, and will vote for whomever the Democratic nominee is (even if I have to hold my nose).

Quinnipiac University Poll
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has pulled ahead of Democratic challenger Fernando Ferrer for the first time in his reelection bid and now leads 47 - 38 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. The Mayor holds a 43 - 38 percent lead over Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields
Bloomberg (R) 47
Ferrer (D) 38
Bloomberg (R) 43
Fields (D) 38
Freddy REALLY screwed himself with the Amadou Diallo comments. The black vote appears to be moving away from Ferrer to C. Virginia Fields.
As for the
Democratic Mayoral primary, Ferrer's once enviable lead has now been reduced to nothing:
Among Democratic primary voters:
Ferrer 27
Fields 23
(This is down from a 40 - 14 percent Ferrer lead March 2 and a 36 - 21 percent Ferrer lead March 30.)
Let's not forget Weiner and Giffy Miller:
Weiner and Miller have barely moved among Democratic voters, with 13 percent for Weiner and 11 percent for Miller.
The pundits, insiders and all the buzz is that the Democrats are up a creek without a paddle. The coronation of Bloomberg has begun. My thoughts? I'll admit, I'm torn about this race (and almost a little indifferent).
