They just don't get it.
The corrupted-by-power, aint got no governing philosophy cuz they hate government, don't need to actually practice religion cuz "I'm saved already" Republican "leadership" thinks their problem with Foley is a sex scandal.
Top GOP strategists said party leaders will concentrate on trying to keep the focus of the unfolding story on Foley, rather than on how House leaders responded when informed about his contacts with former pages.
"I don't know of any race ever where the action of one member has impacted the race of another," said Carl Forti, spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

They are so wrong.
This is an ABUSE OF POWER scandal.
This is just one more piece of the ABUSE OF POWER scandal that leads to:
--Turning a blind eye toward a sexual predator in their midst until it becomes politically inconvenient.
--Torture as official public policy.
--Excluding the minority party from oversight in Congress.
--Shutting out minority party participation in crafting legislation.
--Refusing to even listen to criticism from outside the party.
--Cronyism at Dept. of Ed. channelling millions of dollars to political allies at the expense of poor children.
--Tax cuts for the rich and debt for our children.
--Uses Medicare Reform as a tool to shovel money to pharmaceutical and insurance companies.
--Uses wars against Sadaam Hussein, the Taliban, and al Qaida to shovel money to Halliburton et al while neglecting security at home and the troops abroad.
And so on and on and on and on until ...
We REMOVE THE CORRUPT REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP FROM POWER.
