A few months back I promised myself to create a diary about JFK before year's end. Time waits for no one.
I have few modern day heros from the area of politics for any number of really good reasons but this guy, this President was worthy of admiration.
JFK Remarks never given. Truths never heard.

I promise you a good read and time well spent.
Of the many things that causes my admiration of JFK was his ability to articulate. He played with words not unlike an artist with a brush to paint a mental image.
a snip that seems current> We in this country, in this generation, are--by destiny rather than choice--the watchmen on the walls of world freedom. We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in our time, for all time the ancient vision of "peace on earth, good will toward men."
That must always be our goal, and the righteousness of our cause must always underlie our strength. For as was written long ago: "except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
The United States, as the world knows, will never start a war.
