This is the last I'm going to say on this topic, but I just wanted to make a point. I've seen a few too many Democrats sounding worried about the whole John Kerry ridiculousness, and I have only one thing to say to those people -- stop!
We all know damn well that if Kerry hadn't said what he did, the Republicans would have found something else just as pathetic to latch onto, and the media would have run just as hard with it. That's what they do. That's just the way it is. But we cannot for a second let them get to us.
And again, we need only look to the GOP as far as how we should handle it. Would they ever seem less confident, or upset? Would they ever back down from anything? Would they ever be anything less than angry and in your face? The answer is "no," and we cannot back down to these bastards for a second.
So while I was at first a little upset with Kerry for his remarks (not for what he said, but for how I knew the news would take it), I'm not about to let media and the Republicans get to me. They can cry all they want for this last week, but we are going to win on November 2nd, and then there's going to be a lot more crying for them to do.
So everybody hold your heads up high. Be proud to be a Democrat, part of the party that is going to win big in less than one week. They will not break our spirits, and they will not win this time. The moment is ours, and nothing -- I mean NOTHING -- is going to stop us.
Your pal,
Eric
