I can't possibly compete with the great blogging that is being done today by Bob and Tim (from Swing State) and Paul and others. But I'm giving you this update anyway.
There are solid organizational structures in place in all counties that make up Ohio's 2nd District.
Phone calls from volunteers have been coming in all day, with so many waiting to hit the ground running and get out the vote.
Even more calls are coming in from Ohio's residents asking for their polling locations and offering support.
E-mails and phone calls have been pouring in from across the country. The outpouring of support and love for Paul, as a man and a candidate is astounding. It's an honor to be working to send him to Congress.
At the office now senior staff are finishing last minute projects. Our press secretary and scheduler (Kate and Mel) are sitting side by side working out final details.
1st LT Jonathan Morgenstein is sitting across from after working all day in the field and with Paul.
The financial support this community has shown has been nothing short of astounding - since I have been typing this 10 more people have demonstrated their support with their wallet.
A preview of tomorrows schedule:
From 6:45 - 8:15 Paul will be doing meet and greets at breakfast locations.
At 9:00 he will be voting at his Indian Hill polling location.
He will be on the Jerry Springer Show around 10 a.m.
Then 10:30 he'll be calling in to the Stacy Taylor show.
Paul will be stopping into the Madison Road Headquarters in Hamilton County around 4:00.
Around 6 p.m. you can catch Paul on the Randi Rhodes Show on Air America. He will also appear on Lou Dobbs on CNN that evening.
All of the above is subject to change and more will be added, I am sure Bob will keep you posted as he will be live blogging from the road.
On a personal note, as a Kossack who started doing diaries about a week ago, it has been a pleasure checking in with everyone and being made part of this sprawling family. - xoxo - Tray
Thank you again!
Update [2005-8-1 23:24:59 by Tracy Joan]: Just watched 11 o'clock news to check out for polls, didn't see any.
Also, as I am walking into our headquarters, which is across from Schmidt's, there are 2 people crossing the street from her place, they look over to our side of the street and I hear one of them say, "What the hell are they doing over there? Having a party in that mother f*$#ker?"
Ummm...no, we're working!
