So we've all
seen the
crazy bullshit coming from Carville, a man who can't seem to adjust to his post-Clinton irrelevancy. I don't think this audience needs me to retread the reasons that Howard Dean deserves credit for resuscitating the Democratic Party. I will just say that it sure as hell wasn't Carville who enable Democrats to compete Wyoming, Indiana, Montana and Idaho.
James Carville has made the first move. He's testing the waters, raising a flag to see who salutes, etc. Let's show him what happens when you poke a stick into the eye of a victorious tiger, shall we?
So: Tell Carville what you think. Be polite. His email is
james@carville.info and you can gaze upon this
shrine erected to glorify his beauteous image, if you need inspiration.
Then, tell your newspaper (using the DNC's handy letter writing tool who you think deserves credit for the democrats 2006 sweep - and be sure to mention the "DC elites like James Carville" who want to claim credit for work done by others. Be magnanimous, like Markos, if you wish, and spread the credit around.
Then, if you can, contribute. Unfortunately, money is the only language politics really understands.
Update 1: Two diaries with worthy quotes for your letters to Carville and Newspapers:
