As my friend, Gary the Ogre, says: "So Field Marshal Von Rumsfeld did have an "exit strategy" after all: Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
And on the Mission Accomplished front/or/ getting into Joseph Goebbel's head:
The Administration Propaganda Ministry is still criticizing the "arbitrary time table* for withdrawal" and the horrific "wishful thinking" of the Dems who think things might actually improve if we withdraw. Excuse Me??? What about the Administration's arbitrary (fail to) figure-it-out-as-you-go occupation "plan" (catastrophe) or the wishful thinking about the wonderful neo-con inspired model democracy that Iraq was certain to become. Eliminating portions of the Bill of Rights seemed a little arbitrary to me as well, based as it was on wishful thinking that only bad people will lose their rights.
The term "arbitrary time table" is one of the administration's propaganda weapons of mass distraction. It is never defined and is hurled at opponents like some kind of racial slur. The more times it's hurled, the more the Volk start to believe that, although they don't understand it, it must be something really bad. (At least; they seemed to believe this until the last election.)
If you ever took logic in school you might remember the black=white and the false choice fallacies. The Propaganda Ministry uses these frequently."
