Election Law has linked to this Roll Call article (behind a subscription wall) that starts:
With five House races around the country still unresolved as of Friday, election watchers on Capitol Hill believe it is increasingly likely that the contest for the open Florida 13th district seat could end up before the House Administration Committee, which has oversight over federal elections.
If this does happen, what is the precedent? Does the House Administration Committee have the final say if it does go to the House?
I seem to recall a race in Indiana back in the early 80's went to the House and was decided in favor of the Democrat. Wingnuts still go apoplectic about that case and cite it as a justification for the jihad against Democrats that they have been waging ever since.
